The first guidebook by M. R. James covers the monastic ruins of the South West of England and Wales, and was published by the Great Western Railway as one of a three-book collection alongside Castles and Cathedrals (both erroneously also attributed to James on Wikipedia at the time of writing, although this is not actually the case). Includes a foldout map at the back. For some reason I have two copies of this second impression, both with original dust jackets. I think it was a case of having bought one only to see the other at too low a price to pass up.
A nice writeup of Abbeys can be found here.
